2023 NFL season set to begin with Spencer, WI native on 53-man roster

Frisco, TX - The Dallas Cowboys football team has finalized its 53-man roster for the upcoming 2023 season before today’s National Football League 3pm deadline. The team has kept on its roster four running backs, including Spencer, WI native, and undrafted rookie, Hunter Luepke. During the preseason, Luepke appeared in all three games for the Cowboys carrying the ball 21 times for 67 yards, five pass receptions. One of the five grabs resulted in a 15-yard touchdown vs Las Vegas on August 26th. The Cowboys open the 2023 regular season on the road September 10th at the New York Giants. The game will be featured on NBC’s Sunday Night Football with kickoff scheduled for 7:20pm central time.
