Hagen Steps Down as Colby Football Coach
Colby Football Coach Jim Hagen has decided to step away from coaching the Hornets after over three decades around the program, including leading the team to a State Championship in 2021 as the head coach and three other championships as an assistant (1998, 2008, 2011).
From Coach Hagen:
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my 33 years coaching football at Colby. I never imagined that when I first started coaching football where it would lead and all the memories and friendships that I have experienced during that time. We had a lot of success at Colby and I am forever grateful for the players that I coached, my family and loved ones for all the support, and I got to learn from the one the best, Coach Jeff Rosemeyer."
Coach Hagen went 58-17 as the head coach from 2017-2023.
