Ryan Bowers Named Head Coach of Kaukauna High School Varsity Boys Basketball

Kaukauna, WI – June 24, 2025 – Kaukauna High School proudly announces the promotion of Ryan Bowers to Head Coach of the Boys Varsity Basketball team. A 2001 graduate of Kaukauna High School, Bowers brings over 18 years of coaching experience and a deep-rooted passion for the Kaukauna community and the Ghosts basketball program. 

For nearly two decades, Bowers has been a cornerstone of Kaukauna basketball, most recently serving as a varsity assistant coach and contributing at various levels in the program throughout the years. His tenure includes pivotal roles in the Ghosts' WIAA Division 2 State Championship victories in 2016 and 2018, where his strategic acumen and leadership were instrumental to the team's success. 

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Bowers has shown a strong dedication to developing players of all age levels. He has been actively involved in the youth basketball program, including leading summer school basketball sessions and coaching several Hoops Club youth basketball teams. Additionally, he directs annual skill development camps such as the Shooting Academy and the Dawg Days of Summer Basketball Camp, which serve players from early elementary grades through high school. 

"I'm honored to lead the Kaukauna Ghosts and build upon the strong foundation established by Coach Schalow," said Bowers. "This program has shaped who I am, and I'm committed to guiding our student-athletes to success both on and off the court."
